About

I’m Ross Bearman, a software engineer and user interaction designer. I’m currently working as a developer and project manager for Freeway Projects in Plymouth, alongside completing the final year of my degree (originally straight Computer Science, although now focusing on Software Development). Prior to Freeway Projects I worked as the Commercial Director for iFuse Technologies Ltd., managing product development and sales, alongside day-to-day work as a developer.

I’ve been developing on a multitude of platforms and in a large array of languages for over a decade now, both for the web and the desktop.

My writing on the application of social engineering in computer security has been referenced in Cyber Warfare and Cyber Terrorism, and in 2009 I was invited to attend the first Carsonified Summer Camp.

I’m a supporter of the British Humanist Association, a member of the Open Rights Group, and a strong proponent of the work carried out by them and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
